STONEWALL. LGBTQATAR FLAG.

A flag that isn't allowed, made from the ones that are.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar banned the use of LGBTQ+ rainbow flag – a flag with a rich history of pride and protest. In this stunt for Stonewall, sections of six World Cup team flags were stitched together to re-create the flag, as a statement and symbol of unity.

The flag uses the national flags of Tunisia, Spain, Ecuador, Brazil, Croatia and Qatar (ironically). Tunisia and Qatar are just two of 13 countries in the Cup yet to legalise same-sex marriage.
