The background

Holiday park operator Parkdean Resorts came to Rise at Seven wanting to own the Great British staycation market after the first UK lockdown. We launched a campaign celebrating the beauty and diversity of Britain’s best beaches and anchored by a simple concept – to celebrate the sands in a pastiche of the graphic language made iconic by the experts of colour, Pantone.

The design

A landing page helped gain links, traffic and push audiences straight to Parkdean pages with the help of a few punchy CTAs. A number of other touchpoints were also created to drive awareness, from paint pots to postcards, and swatch books to IG filters. These were used to generate interest amongst the press and provide social influencers with pushable content.

Sandtone has won five awards to date, including 'Global Integrated Content Campaign' and 'Global Travel & Leisure Campaign' at the Global Content Awards, and 'Best Use of Search in Travel/Leisure' at the UK Search Awards 2020 – proving that even in lockdown you can create great travel campaigns.
